English Poem 48: The Girl In Stripes

The girl in stripes,
Stands tall with a big smile on her face,
As she finishes the high school,
It's time to get ready for the big school.

The girl in stripes,
Stands tall with a big smile on her face,
While enjoying the best time of the year,
May you have many more like these dear.

The girl in stripes,
Stands tall with a big smile on her face,
Remember girl, life may bounce you around,
It takes a strong heart to turn it around.

The girl in stripes,
Stands tall with a big smile on her face,
Hope she lives every moment of her life,
As she continues this incredible journey.....................Satish

English Poem 47: Know When To Walk Away

Know when to walk away,
Even if you have to find a new way.
Sour it may sound,
But soon you will be glad.

English Poem 46: Peak

Every peak you reach,
Follows with a sudden drop,
Like a crevasse on a beach,
Everyone falls, but those who are strong,
Will climb to a new peak only they could reach.....................Satish

English Poem 45: Hill As I See It

As I climb up this steep hill,
From the depths of my sorrow,
Search for my soulmate,
Began with a strong will.

As I climb up this steep hill,
From the depths of my sorrow,
Word from an old friend,
Has served as a pill.

As I climb up this hill,
From the depths of my sorrow,
Thoughts of her must vanish,
As I find new experiences to fill..................................Satish

English Poem 44: Mother Nancy

Nancy,
More often than not, you are fancy,
Though your ride on a horse sometimes bouncy,
Your posture reminds me of queen Jhansy.

You were there to hug me,
When I needed someone to comfort this skinny bone,
You were there to listen to me,
When I needed to share a story with a soothing tone,
You were there to play with me,
When I needed someone to compete with until I forget my own phone.

Your comfort was very addicting,
Your kindness was so astonishing,
Times we spent we were often refreshing,
Compassion you showed was sometimes admiring,
Games we played were mostly entertaining,
Even though I was tired of repeatedly winning.

May you live longer,
May you live healthier,
May your shadow never disappear,
May you find a game in which you are stronger.

I am not trying to impress you,
No need for me to flatter you,
I sometimes find my mother in you,
Can I just once call you, Mother Nancy? ...............................Satish

English Poem 43: Void

Void is what left in me,
It is deep like an ocean,
It is quiet like a dead mouse,
It feels like a fresh burn,
It is dark like an endless cave,
It has nothing to share,
Except the story of this beautiful girl--------------------Satish

English Poem 42: Hope

Our journey became a story of yesterday,
Yet, you have been in my thoughts,
In every beat of my heart,
I can see you everywhere,
I hear your name like a murmur in my ear.

My heart is so lonely,
Waiting for your company,
I wanna know what this fuss is all about,
As you can tell,
Reasons are what I am after.

Our paths have split apart,
Hope they will merge one day,
Bringing us closer,
And, stronger than ever before,
Scripting our journery all over again---------------------Satish
