English Poem 54: A Lighthearted View

The journey we embarked upon,
Ended before it all began.
Yet, the life goes on.

Did you ever wonder why?
The answer better be a YES,
Because you were the one who pulled the plug.

Never have I studied someone so much,
Had I spent 50 percent of that effort toward my GMAT,
I'd have easily scored a 100 percent.

Roller coasters must be your favorite,
You take things slow to the peak,
Boom, then you drop it like it's no big deal.

You once said to me, you had a vision 2020,
How come you couldn't see the future with me?
At least till 2020.

You love art,
And you love to exercise,
Yet you had trouble exercising the art of communication.

You often said you loved sweet potatoes,
If that was so true,
Why didn't you let this brown potato be so sweet to you?..............Satish

English Poem 53: Baby, I Still Love You

More I tried to move away from you,
More I started to think about you,
Never have I been so closer to you,
With my never ending thoughts of you.

Though the distance grew between me and you,
I still feel connected to you,
Countless times I wished I was with you,
Can't seem to alter the respect I have for you.

I never told you,
That I loved you,
Surprising it may be to you,
Baby, I still love you.......................................................Satish
