English Poem 69: A Long Search

As tiring as it may be,
To search for a missing soul,
In the middle of a forest,
With few grains left to eat,
Alone in the dark,
Putting life at stake,
Leaving everything behind,
With no sight of hope,
Near or far,
I march ahead.

As the gusty winds,
Pick up their speed,
As dark clouds gather,
Lightening strikes,
The thunderous noise,
Blows my ears,
Entrenched in rain,
I lay down,
For hours to come.

As the sun peeks out,
Between two rugged mountains,
As the birds go off,
Drops of water,
Drip down my face,
The gentle breeze,
Tries to push me away,
I open my eyes,
To find your astonishing beauty,
Baby. you are what I have been dying to find................................................Satish
